[Interview Series] Building a Thriving Online Community with Melissa Froehlich

Welcome to The LadyBoss Collective’s first LIVE Interview Series. With many more to come, we are so happy that Melissa was our first interview, as she embodies everything we believe in when it comes to community. 

Here’s a little background on TLBC + Melissa and how we came to meet. A couple of months ago TLBC got the pleasure to work alongside Melissa on a project with a client. Melissa joined the team to manage the backend of our client’s business and get “shit in order.” And that she most certainly did. We were in the middle of a hellish book launch, and although TLBC was doing.all.the.things, with Melissa’s help, we were able to keep it all together whilst riding the rollercoaster that comes with any large launch.

Since that project ended, we have kept in contact, referred clients and created a friendship. We instantly felt a connection with her, as she is all about community just as much as we are. In the end, your business will never thrive, let alone survive, without the mindset of “Community over competition” and that is exactly the style of business Melissa runs.

With less than a year under her belt of building her community, Melissa has grown her Military Spouse VA/SMM/Freelancer Facebook Group - Mil Spouse Remote Work Collective from zero to almost 3000.

Melissa Froehlich is a sought-after business strategist who works with entrepreneurs ready to grow their teams, optimize systems, and scale their businesses. After leaving her corporate job to follow her active-duty Air Force husband across the United States, Melissa rapidly built a booked-out business using the same strategies she implements with clients.   

In 2019 she launched her signature mentoring program focused on helping other virtual assistants and online business managers up-level their services and reach more of their ideal clients.  She also released her signature course, The Remote Work Roadmap, which provides a 5-step system for starting a profitable online business.

Melissa loves coaching other women how to grow profitable online businesses of their own. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, outdoor adventures in the Nevada mountains, and reading inspiring books.
